Thanks for the thoughts, Mike.
I like the idea of white as well because it is supposed to be simple to spray.
I don't intend for the car to be plasti-dipped forever, but a temporary color change seems like a good idea to me - and the matte finish of plasti-dip won't be all that different than the current paint.

As of right now, I'm thinking of dipping the tailgate in red to match for now, and white maybe sometime this summer. We'll see.

I`ll vote white also as I`m guessing your not gonna do all the jambs so a neutral color would be best. Blue with red jambs would clash and flat black has been done to death.

white is a good color
had a 68 coronet in white sporty but not in your face and draws less negative attention for the police

Nah, I'm not painting it yet. No money there for body and paint work.

And when it does get painted, I don't know what color I'll do, but probably not white.

What color is the interior? Consider the 1966 color Bronze Metallic, it really looked sharp when mixed and sprayed properly.

Now unfortunately, the car wants to handle well, but if I crank the steering wheel, it wallows like a ship in a storm!

Next will simply have to be some of the Hotchkis Fox shocks and to either install the Hotchkis rear bar and cut the exhaust, or buy a Hellwig and use that.

I love the look of the car with the wheels, though, they're perfect!

Hi Ryan I am new to this site and just because i googled '1969 Plymouth Satellite Station Wagon' images up came your MassMopar thread! I am the very proud owner of a new for me 1969 Satellite Wagon [Alpine White / B5/B7 Blue Interior] i am a California MOPAR fanatic who normally prefers factory 14/15" steelies with whitewalls or MOPAR Road Wheels UNTIL I saw your MB Old School pictures and that sold me on the stance / look of that tire/wheel combo on my new rig. - my main question for you is what specific Tire Size / Brand are your new Tires fitted to your MB Old School 18 X 8" rims? You mention getting a great deal from Discount Tire what did it cost for four wheels/tires? I want to order the exact 18X8 MB Old Schools with the correct tires size Thank you in advance, Mark
