it has tube chassis from the firewall back full tubed 32x16.5/16 slicks ,4.56 gear ,spool, mark Williams axles was set up for a big block chevy 2500lb race weight . thought it would be fun to drop the 528 in it and go racing this summer and maybe prostreet the Duster for cruises the things I want to do with the duster are going to take a lot of time and effort it will be a while before I get it done but in the mean time I want to have some fun.

Even with a 528 it would still be a Mustang , try this one - http://maine.craigslist.org/cto/4757411636.html

I "like" your Duster idea ! Most definitely I'd go with that if it were me . Then you could have a Duster to play with while you were doing your Dads over the way you want .

This would probably be a good spot to give a confession on my part . I've thought a couple of times about building a cross dresser as well . Mine was a double nickel ( Done Gasser style ) and put a sick big block Mopar drivetrain in it ( Just to go fast and piss off the cheby guys ) . On the truck lid I was going to have a picture of Mr. Good wrench , bound and gaged and hanging by his ankle's , swinging in the breeze . There I admitted it , but don't tell anyone .

I actually have somewhat of a thing for the early 4 eyed fox bodies. One of just a few Fords that get me going.

But the problem with owning a Mustang is that they are like bellybuttons: Everyone has one.
That's what kept me from pursuing a Mustang when I was looking for a DD.

If you're OK with that, then I'd be behind the idea of the Mo-powered Stang.
