Swedish Valiant?

Well not really. I was looking for a Dart or Valiant 4 door for cheap as a daily beater, but you already know the cheaper ones are rusted junk or the nice ones are out of budget. Well traded in at work was this old Volvo, a 92 to be exact. Not really a car I was into, but now they look a bit different. Long story short, I picked it up for $200 bucks. It runs great. It has a slant 4, almost a slant 6. Very little body rust. Four snow tires mounted on rims, plus four like new all season tires on rims. The car was always serviced at a Volvo specialist shop that used factory parts only. The car really reminds me of early 70's Valiant's I have owned.

Nothing wrong with a simple, dead-nuts-reliable Volvo 240! They weren't exactly lookers, but they were damn near indestructible! I have known many people who have driven them throughout the years, and they're usually a lot rustier than that one. Congrats on what appears to be the most rust-free example of a 240 I've ever seen! And for only $200, that's a steal.
