Any updates on this project? I went to the Firebirddesigns website and could not find those decals you have. Also, where did you get the wheels from?

I've been working on smaller scale stuff most of the year.

Firebird did the decals. I got the resin wheels on eBay. Since then, I bought some machined aluminum ones that are nicer.

Is it quite a bit of work to turn this model into a stock looking Charger? The engine bay is set up as a Nascar type right out of the box isn't it? I'm asking because I would consider getting one of these, I just want to know how much work is involved. Let me know your thoughts.

In my opinion, the work is pretty significant-

Interior mods to the seats, center console and dash

Entire engine bay, including inner fenders and radiator support

Convert the kit's Hemi into a 440

Fix the front wheel wells

Gas tank

Wheels and tires

That is a lot of work to turn that kit into a factory car. There is a definite lack of parts in that scale, so fabrication skills seem to be a must. I really look forward to seeing your progress on this build. I was just at Hobby Lobby this past weekend and saw the kit for just under $30. The 1/25 scale '68 Charger from Revell wasn't much less!

$30 isn't a bad price for it.
