1988 Chrysler Fifth Avenue

Postby redhorse819 » Fri Jun 19, 2015 9:33 am

Hi Everyone and thanks for letting me join. I just bought a 1988 Chrysler Fifth Avenue for 900. I have always been a Mopar lover. My first was a 1967 Dodge Coronet 440 Convertible which was rolled while I was in The Air Force. I purchased a 1968 Dodge Charger Bronze/Black Vinyl top in Kansas in !974 55,000 original miles for 400 dollars. Sold in 78 for 250 dollars. my mistake listened to wife telling me it needed to much work.lol I got tired of the fwd vehicles. not the easiest to work on from all the electronic devices mot to mention the fuel pump in the gas tank. I will try to get better pictures. Thanks again Kevin.

Welcome to the site, Kevin!

I have always kind of liked those M-Bodies. There was a nice Diplomat for sale in Brookfield, MA for a while that I still wonder if I shouldn't have just bought.

Thank you Bear. Yes red leather interior. My question is do they have cruise nites or a place to meet to get to meet other mopar enthusiast. The Classic Car Club of America says it has to be 30 years old to be a classic. What is it in Massachusetts? Is it 25 years?

25yrs old and it's considered an antique in the state of Massachusetts. We don't have any mopar specific shows that we are sponsoring yet, we're working on that. What part of Massachusetts do you live in? There is a show coming up in July for just mopar a but its in Pennsylvania.
